In October, I’m going to set the fashion world on fire with the designs put forth in a show entitled Se7en Deadly Sins. Paired up with Columbus College of Art and Design, seven student designers and I will be putting our spin on the sins of ancient and modern society. This is something you won’t want to miss as the the Aladdin Shrine turns into an epitome of these vices.
Here is your sneak peek to what I’ve been working on…. Wrath
I stay quiet and work hard, and then BAM! show you what I’ve been doing. Enjoy!
January 12, 2010 marked the day that no Haitian will ever forget. An earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richeter Scale rocked capital Port-Au-Prince. Since there have been several aftershock all above 5.0! This impoverished country has already seen its full of bad luck, from hurricanes, to mud slides, to revolutions. These unfortunate people have been through the ringer. I spoke with Ludie Senatus, model and friend, native of Haiti about the current state, and she gave me a laundry list of people that she knew that were dead. She described the whole situation as “surreal”.
As I watched on Twitter and Facebook reactions people were having was interesting to say the least. It was hot news when it happened then slowly the general public’s attention began to wain. I thought to myself I can’t just allow myself to be caught up in the jadedness of the general public.
Yesterday I read an article on Yahoo news about a retirement home that had been leveled, and how the elderly were in the street.

An old man is fed a few nuts from his nephew while lying outside his quake damaged nursing home in Port-au-Prince, Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010. More than 100 old men and women were living outside the home, that was damaged during Tuesday's earthquake, with no food or care other than an occasional bath from two medical orderlies who remained to help. I thought about numerous ways that I would be able to help. Giving $5-10 didn’t seem like enough to me. I wasn’t alone in this thought, a few of my creative friends had the same idea. Hope for Haiti is a benefit concert that will be held here in Columbus, Ohio. Photographer Dwain Thomas has a donation link on his site.
I decided to pull together an auction for a pair of my customs. They are listed on Ebay, right now the bidding is only $10. Which is actually pretty sad. If you look at custom shoe sites they can start at $150 and can go up to $700!! I’m making these customs for FREE!
All the money will go to Yele.org Wyclef’s grassroots organization to help Haiti.
When I lived in New York, and even before when I would visit, my disk rotation wasn’t complete with out a mix cd from DJ Tony Touch. I contacted him to see if he’d like a pair of customs. Of course he said yes! He requested some Air Force 1 Mids but told me to do my thing on them. So the connection between his musical genius and what to paint was a easy problem! He even sent me a pic back! Thanks pa! Glad you liked them!
Finding the right photographer to show what you’ve envisioned is always a challenge when starting off in this type of business. But here are some of the best from my four photo shoots of ‘09
Due the overwhelming requests I’ve received to post pics of Raekwon’s shoes, and the fact that the Chef himself leaked the pics before I had a chance to post them I had to post them. So here they are. As well as some pics from when I presented them to him. Enjoy!

Black, White and Blue Pattered Dunks!

He likes them, he really likes them!

Checkin out the shoes.

Yes guilty. I'm a Wu-Head.

Raekwon's Dunks

And there he is 1/2 C-N-N! Slightly salty he didn't get any shoes. Don't worry I got you!

You want WHAT Capone???????

We stay strapped. Our weapons of choice!
This will be a two part post. Only because Noreaga will not be in concert with Capone and Raekwon. I was hoping to get them both posing in their shoes. But if you know anything about Noreaga he is obsessed with Newport. So when I hit him up about shoes, of course his reply was “I want Newport shoes.” So here they are!
I received an order via Facebook, when I was advertising for the Christmas season. An aunt looking for an original gift for her two nieces. She had no specifics other than their favorite colors and a few hobbies they were into. She told me just to do me. So I did!
